The hiring staff increases worldwide

The volume of contracts increases worldwide for the first time in four years, even though the uncertainty in the confidence of senior management of the Eurozone could lead to a change in priorities of the recruitment in Europe. This increase in recruitment means that companies have to make an effort to attract highly qualified candidates for their organizations.

At this respect, according to a study conducted by LinkedIn, the most important aspects in a global recruitment process are in order of importance, the ones of the following graph:

The priorities are different if we compare the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to large multinational companies, as shown in the graph attached below:

According to the above graph, SMEs tend more to prioritize the selection of qualified candidates and the quality of the recruitment process and on the other hand, large companies prioritize encourage diversity in recruitment. Notwithstanding the foregoing, competition and salary remain the biggest obstacles to attract qualified candidates, forcing professionals to implement smart selection intelligence and technology in the selection processes, to ensure the proper management of the huge amount of data of this kind of processes, ensuring to do the process in a short time.

This is why that takes special relevance that the companies support their processes in new technologies that add value and new information of the evaluated candidates, as well as speed to the selection process, something vital for companies today. Companies that are able to combine these factors in their selection process, will be successful obtaining the best candidates and consequently will improve their competitiveness and results in the medium and long term.
