The call includes important news regarding the same program calls published in 2015, including the following:

• Streamlining administrative documentation: The call 1/2016 introduces some other changes from previous years, such as consulting office of the economic accounts of the entity to Companies or simplification and structuring application data calls, thus reducing the administrative burden for applicants and accelerating the process of evaluation and granting aid.

• International Dedicated call: Due to the peculiarities of international clusters EUREKA: CATRENE, CELTIC, ITEA and Euripides, it is considered necessary to adapt the financing instrument so that national and international calendars are coordinated and administrative burden for the applicant to be simplified. For this reason, in this call 1/2016, may not receive aid projects of industrial research and experimental development that have obtained accreditation from membership of any of the EUREKA ICT cluster, these projects being deployed to a second call this year 2016.

• Expansion of the thematic priorities with the addition of Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) and Industry Connected 4.0. The term “Industry 4.0 or Industry Connected 4.0” refers to the fourth industrial revolution, a phenomenon that marks a qualitative leap in the organization and management of the entire value chain through life cycles of products. These cycles life are targeted to increasingly personalized customer requirements. They range from the original idea about ordering products, development and manufacturing, to delivery to end customers and, ultimately, recycling. They include all services associated with the product life-cycle management. The base of the “Industry 4.0″ is available in real time to all relevant information to the product provided by a network accessible throughout the value chain as well as the ability to modify the value stream optimal at any time to be a ciberfísico system. the thematic priority of Industry connected 4.0, is aimed at promoting industrial transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises (hereinafter SMEs) in the Spanish manufacturing sector through this technological paradigm, specially focusing on your first step, the development of products for scanning.

• Budget allocation: The program is divided into two sub Boost Technology, with the aim of encouraging investment in information technology and communications with low level of maturity and a budget of 15 million in grants and 45 million in loans, and large projects, with the aim of encouraging the implementation of projects with high potential transformer and a marked effect on other entities tractor and a budget of 5 million in grants and 15 million in loans. In total 80 million euros compared to 150 budgeted in the call 1/2015, of which a total of 53.7 million was allocated (23.4 in grants and the rest in the form of loan)

• Major Projects: The subprogram Major Projects specifically used to finance projects of industrial research and experimental development based on technologies that fit into thematic industrial future (components and systems, Internet of the future, Cloud Computing, Massive Data Processing, supercomputing , robots and autonomous systems, smart cities, Internet of cases and manufacture) or Industry Connected 4.0, stooping minimum budget of 1 million euros per project (versus the 2 million established in the call 2015), maintaining the requirement to subcontract one minimum 25% of the budget presented and a maximum budget of 10 million euros.

• Amendment guarantees vs solvency percentage entity: 1/2015 The notice some guarantees between 10 and 40% of aid depending on the level of solvency of the company, was established in the call while the fixed guarantees 1/2016 can go 0 to 100% of the proposed aid also based solvency entity.
